About me
My name is Alexandros Binos, and I am an English Language Teacher and Greek Language Educator based in Melbourne.
I hold a Master of Applied Linguistics and TESOL from Macquarie University (Sydney) and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Greek Studies from Macquarie University (Sydney) including 15 months of study at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. I have extensive experience teaching languages, including over 8 years teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) and English as a Second Language (ESL) to adult learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds in both educational centres and privately.
I have also taught Modern Greek for more than 12 years in Greek community language schools and privately in Sydney and Melbourne, supporting students to develop and enhance their skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing Greek. My experience includes working with both school-aged learners and adult learners and helping students build confidence and achieve success in their language studies.
I am passionate about language learning and believe that every student benefits from personalised instruction that is tailored to their goals, interests and learning needs.
